The Jauregui Law Firm COVID-19 Quarantine Volunteer Community Services
For the duration of the COVID-19 Quarantine we have provided, free of charge:
1. Consultations on landlord’s responsibilities to maintain a home where the person seeking our help, who is the tenant, can live a safe and hygienic life.
2. Consultations for gig-economy workers on seeking support from federal and state programs including the Pennsylvania Unemployment Compensation Office.
3. Consultations for parents of Philadelphia-area children who have special needs—particularly Autism Spectrum required accommodations—and need accommodations obtained from local school districts in the new era of at home schooling.
4. Consultations for many Philadelphia-area residents who do not have access to health care, because of financial or other reasons, and who believe or suspect they and in some cases their clearly ill family members, are infected with the COVID-19 virus.
For all these cases we were able to provide consultations remotely thus complying with Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf’s Proclamation of Disaster Emergency in Pennsylvania of March 6, 2020 which is available here: https://www.governor.pa.gov/newsroom/gov-wolf-signs-covid-19-disaster-declaration-to-provide-increased-support-for-state-response/
Because a lot of our community is Spanish-speaking only, we have provided the bulk of these services to them, in Spanish. We only regret our inability to provide live-services like these, in Asian languages.

Servicios a la comunidad durante la cuarentena
Durante el periodo de cuarentena por el virus COVID-19 hemos proveído, gratis:
1. Consultas con respecto a las responsabilidades de los caseros o dueños de apartamentos de mantener la morada segura e higiénica para el arrendatario.
2. Consultas para los trabajadores temporales quienes buscan apoyo del gobierno federal o de programas estatales como los de la Oficina de Compensación al Desempleo de Pennsylvania.
3. Consultas para padres de niños con discapacidades--particularmente aquellas en el Espectro Autista--en el área de Filadelfia quienes requieren de ayuda especial ahora que se ven obligados a estudiar desde casa.
4. Consultas para muchos residentes del área de Filadelfia quienes no tienen acceso al sistema de salud, ya sea por razones financieras o de otra índole, y quienes creen o sospechan que ellos o sus familiares están infectados por el COVID-19.
Para todas estas consultas fuimos capaces de proveer, y seguimos proveyendo, asistencia remota por vía telefónica, por texto, o por internet para asi satisfacer la Proclama de Emergencia Desastre que giró el Gobernador de Pennsylvania el 6 de Marzo, 2020. Continuamos asistiendo hasta el dia de hoy.
